Who first discovered the television? As usual, the largest search engine, Google came up with an appreciation for an event in Google Doodle today, January 26, 2016. In the Google Doodle today, featuring the 90th anniversary since it was first introduced mechanical television.

John Logie Baird was born on August 14, 1888 in Helensburgh, United Kingdom, then married to Margaret Albu and has two children named Malcolm Baird and Diana Baird.


John Logie Baird is the first to demonstrate a television in front of the people at that time. On March 25, 1925, John Logie Baird gave a demonstration to the public for the first time on television moving silhouette images, in Selfridge Department Store in London. On January 26, 1926 Baird demonstrated the transmission of the face image can be moved. It is widely regarded as the world's first demonstration of television.
